Truth Matters Not.

All animals lie. This is the truth.

We are animals. You can not dispute.

Some try to evolve in their soul.

It's tough to reach that goal.

And, when some don't, our species ain't whole.

Our world and our country is broken.

And like Humpty, seems it can't come together again.

And it may not have ever have been.

Is there no limit?

In November of 2016 I knew the voters were wrong
But I prayed Trump could change his egotistical song.
And every talking Head we saw on TV
Said the same thing, almost praying it would be.

After a while it did get a bit old
We learned, if he had a soul...it was very cold.
What is his limit...how far will he go?
Will he kill protesters? Just for his show?

I just can’t understand...I feel so low...
I love this country...I fought for it so...
I won’t stop, but I’m tired, please pick up my slack.
If he wins in November...I may not come back.

Bone-Spurs in Chief

This President, when called, dodged the draft,
And turned into a President daft.
Raised by parents who loved the clan,
He became the man who can’t love a black man.

Then said he loved Christ, it never seemed so
And then used Christ’s Church like it was his ho.
This Commander in Chief then screamed at his people,
“Behave my command or I will look feeble!”

Seems to me a Christian should act a little like Christ
But this man can’t do that. Sorry, duck and cover.

Please...Consider His Soul

I like to think we all have a soul.
I have no proof...but hope it is so.
Trump acts like he doesn’t care.
And without a soul he’ll take any dare.

I’m afraid of any man without a soul!
That’s a man who’ll do anything
Set any goal.
He should copy a man like Mr. Rick Bright!

Now that’s a man with a soul that does what is right.

Oh...He Didn't Really Do That....

Here are the Terrible Things Trump Did That You Might Have missed in the Midst of Impeachment...(from The Daily Beast):

He banned travel from Africa’s biggest nation, poisoned the water and polluted the air, and lots more.

In his State of the Union address, an unchastened Donald Trump, awaiting acquittal tomorrow from the Republicans who call what he did “shameful and wrong,” took credit for things he didn’t do and deflected blame for those that he did. After declining to shake Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s hand before beginning his speech, he touted an historical “economic miracle”(a mild uptick in growth which is slowing), that the military has been completely rebuilt (it hasn’t), and that he’s protecting coverage for pre-existing conditions (he’s trying to kill it).
Separating fact from fiction in any Trump speech while enduring his reality-television bits (Rush Limbaugh being awarded, on the spot, the Medal of Freedom and a soldier returning from Afghanistan surprising his wife and kids in the gallery) is enough to sap the soul of those living through the worst presidency in modern times. It leaves us without the energy to block his executive actions, which don’t attract as much attention as the drama of impeachment or a set speech, but do cause great and lasting harm.

He moved to poison the country’s water and pollute its air, allowing emissions even greater than the auto industry had asked for, and lifting the ban on toxic chemicals like PFAS. You might have missed the change to runoff rules that over time will turn every city into Flint, where the water is so toxic its residents had to bathe in Evian. The Environmental Protection Agency, so-called, has reopened negotiations with cities, including the nation’s capital, to allow them to dump raw sewage into its rivers until they can afford to upgrade their sewers.
Last Thursday, the same agency finalized a rule to strip protection for streams, wetlands and groundwater, to the pleasure of real estate developers and fossil-fuel producers. It’s all part of Trump’s crusade to remove all traces of Obama and to repeal or weaken nearly 100 environmental rules and laws on climate change, clean air, chemical pollution, coal mining (the head of the EPA is a former coal-mining lobbyist), and oil drilling—soon to be happening in a national forest near you. His support for the Trillion Trees Initiative, proposed by the World Economic Forum in Davos, will hardly compensate.
Trump’s aiming for a lawless state of affairs that benefits the same 1% who reaped a windfall from “our massive Republican tax cuts” (massive, in the long run, for wealthier Americans) he boasted about Tuesday night. The connecting thread in all his efforts is that the moves benefit one CEO or industry at the cost of the many.
That barbecue you like? Beware. Pork inspections have been Boeing-ized. A new rule out of the FDA removes government inspectors from hog slaughterhouses in favor of “establishment personnel.” You’d think that insiders inspecting themselves would be banished forever when two crashes of new 737 Maxs in five months killed 346 people, after the Federal Aviation Administration let the aircraft maker certify its readiness to fly.

Humans and Being Humane

We humans are animals but we say it ain't so
Can't be an animal...can't be so low.
But all of our evils...all of our sins
Come from that truth...apes are our kin.

Just look at our faults...I searched in my soul
And found fear of the OTHER in ancient caves in my soul.
Anyone OTHER brings terror and hate
Which requires that I must fight hard to abate.

It takes real effort for us to change from that hate
Cause being racist and hateful is our do nothing state.
And millions do nothing...nothing at all
As Trump lies and berates like he's having a ball.

Why don't more people care...why don't we all shout!
I would really like to know what's that's all about.
We've had liars before inside the White House...
But seems like those folks were all called out.

Look...I don't need a President who's like a priest,
But I would like one who does right at least.
With supporters that won't cheer as he steals,
Or yells a put down, or asks us to drink bleach.

It ain't easy bein' good. We could all try harder.

Try harder, Donald.

Follow the leader....

What happens if we follow our leader!
(Imagine him as a role model...everyone follows.)

Of course, everyone lies...and no one accepts blame for anything...
we all would never say we're sorry. Because we're not sorry...for anything. And we will always accept criticism with name calling and denigration. Because we are all bullies and infants. Men would grab women by their whatever. We would not pay bills if we didn't want to...sometimes destroying whole companies. Businessmen, who were honest...would stop that silliness. Bankruptcy would become a badge of honor and we would never pay our fair share of taxes.

And some would just stop being good...let your imagination go where that would take us.
What have we become?
