 Tweeters...

Humans cry, scream, sigh and meme...and now...they tweet.
Vain folks tweet the most...like vain birds who think highly of themselves.
Folks that crave attention.
When they tweet, I will follow the birds first.

Ballgame Shooting

The Art of Death: (pretty...huh)

Our current reality.(click)..:

Should this man have been able to buy his guns? We don't know yet. It's a good question...if you are against the Wild West Reality this country has become. And, odds are, that reality will remain for some time. We have a Congress in Washington that recently said it would be a good thing for men and women, who have been classed as folks who can't handle their own affairs by either the Social Security Administration or the Veterans Administration, to be allowed to buy guns. Seems crazy? A bit?

Sessions' Blatant Prison Profiteering

Yoda Sessions has stepped from the shadows to make the most blatant move yet for this Cabinet of Trumpigari. He has directed all federal prosecutors to ask for the maximum sentence in each case that comes before them. Our Attorney General is very anti-crime (except for white collar and ethics violations). The stories detailing this obvious plan to increase profits for companies running our private prisons are linked below. The swamp is alive and getting more obvious.

French Wisdom

Wow... on April 23rd 2017, France held an election for President. No candidate had a majority, so a runoff was held May 7th. France elected the centrist candidate, Emmanuel Macron, an outsider who favors NATO and the European Union, over the right-wing Fascist, Marine Le Pen. I am very pleased with the outcome, but I would like to suggest that the way France holds their elections is far superior to our own. (Most Democracies' elections are superior to our own.)

France historically gets a very bad rap from Americans. Sometimes subtle and sometimes obvious jabs are often thrown their way. Here, though, is something to emulate. Our elections are ridiculous and a monumental waste of money, attention, and our nerves.

So, France, I salute thee on the day after a comfortable win for reason...:

Ch...ch...ch...changes...in meaning.

Strange Changes...

I saw a cartoon in a magazine...a lifetime ago...
Man's brain at different moments in life.
@ 20...75% is thinking of sex...25% ...golf and food
@40...50% is sex and 50% is golf
@80...10% is sex...and 90% is thinking about a decent bowel movement.

And, me, ...at 68...remaining erect has alternate meanings.

That's WTF I'm here??

All human history has one purpose: To repair Salo's spaceship.

Salo, the Tralfamadorian explorer, is a robot built millennia earlier to carry a message to a distant galaxy. His spacecraft is powered by the Universal Will to Become or UWTB, the "prime mover" which makes matter and organization wish to appear out of nothingness. (UWTB, Vonnegut informs the reader, was responsible for the Universe in the first place and is the greatest imaginable power source). A small component on Salo's spacecraft breaks and strands him here in the Sol System for over 200 millennia. He requests help from Tralfamadore, and his fellow Tralfamadorians respond by manipulating human history so that primitive humans evolve and create a civilization in order to produce the replacement part. Rumfoord's encounter with the chrono-synclastic infundibulum, the following war with Mars and Constant's exile to Titan were manipulated via the Tralfamadorians' control of the UWTB. Stonehenge, the Great Wall of China and the Kremlin are all messages in the Tralfamadorian geometrical language, informing Salo of their progress.

So it goes....

Imagine

Pretty...:

Imagine a world...folks who can't handle their lives...
Sayeth the Social Security Administration...
Now able to buy guns. Thanks NRA.
A recent analysis found a suicide rate among veterans
Of about 30 per 100,000 population per year,
Compared with the civilian rate of 14 per 100,000. And
So the House has approved legislation...
That would make it harder to keep veterans who are "mentally incapacitated,
Deemed mentally incompetent" or prone to blackouts from buying guns.

You don't have to imagine anymore.

What year is it?

There's an "Inner Party" and an "Outer Party."
Insies and outsies.... Outside...cold...and sick.
Winston tastes good...everyman does.

Are we always at war? Our volunteer heroes (do the rich share in this death?) die silently...
Will it ever stop? Rage...rage at the dying.

Remember "Caveat Emptor?"

Donald is changing America. With a stroke of his pen, he swept away the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's rule that financial advisers and agents must consider their customer's interests ahead of their desire for profit. Gone in a whoosh of his hand as is the wish that in a Great America we won't be taken advantage of.... That our people have a higher sense of integrity...or should have. Well, that the Idealist in me. I've always been one and was criticized because I was.... Donald is greed personified...

So remember Caveat Emptor...(Click); NY Times:

"Anger is a wind which blows out the lamp of the mind," - Robert Ingersoll (1833 - 1899).

Cosmic chaos bleeds through membranes
into our reality -
cookie cutter daily lives -
expanding like paper dolls
then torn apart in terrible beauty...
and DC becomes the Darkness, Power, and Terror
of Dorothy's Kansas.
