Indiana and Arkansas are just two of the states where the Christian Right is trying to use the rule of law to codify their religious beliefs. Seems like every day they do something to replace the Constitution with the Bible. The difference this time (and it has surprised the hell out of me) is that the scope of the backlash is amazing and so satisfying. It is wonderful to finally show them that there are consequences to laws that hurt people...and that those people...all people...have voices. And now, in Ohio, the "Heartbeat" Bill will be debated in the State Senate. We need another loud message sent to our State Senators about consequences.
