The NRA will say, very soon, that there's nothing we could have done to ensure that this hateful kid had no access to guns. Of course there are things we can do...but we don't do ANY of them. Gun advocates claim we are out to take away all their guns...we aren't. Why do they believe that a Federal Law to provide for reasonable background checks would be so unreasonable? THEY ARE TRYING TO PURCHASE A PRODUCT THAT KILLS. Who is unreasonable?

ReplyDeleteAre automatic weapons legal? And if so, why? I am okay with people hunting and having a weapon to use, although some prefer bow and arrow. I'm okay with hunting, so long as what has been killed gets eaten, either by the hunter or by people in need. I'm sort of okay with those who are fearful, either with good reason or not (paranoia, distrust). But, please, keep your guns away from anyone who might misuse them. How meaningless that is...because there are those who never will.
