Spousal Communication....

After living with the same being for over 30 years, conversation takes on certain patterns with little surprise and a degree of expectation and comfort. My wife and I were watching Leon Bibb tell us about Cleveland weather as we watched the snow falling outside our living room window. He explained that some airlines were cancelling flights and that, if we were traveling, we "mightawanta" call and check for delays or cancellations. I repeated the word "mightawanta" and, Ronni, my wife, said "It sounds like a small town." It did. Like Mightawanta, New York...just south of Ithaca in Tompkins County. And it had an American Indian feel to it...a place we all mightawanta visit someday. It's on our bucket list.
